What would you like to improve?

Maintenance wash & protection

A maintenance wash removes road film and surface grime. Selected protection helps care for a finish that is already in good condition. This is the starting point when the trailer is dirty rather than faded.

One-step exterior polish

A one-step polish aims to improve gloss and mild haze on suitable surfaces. It goes beyond washing by working on the finish itself.

Two-step exterior correction

A two-step correction uses a stronger first stage followed by a refining polish. The material and remaining finish must be suitable; photographs help us assess that before confirming.

Aluminum polishing is a separate service

Exterior panel polishing does not include polishing bare aluminum or creating a mirror finish on metal. Aluminum is individually quoted from photos, condition, surface area and the finish you want. We confirm the achievable finish and price before work is approved.

For an aluminum inquiry, send an overall trailer view and close photos of the metal areas. You can request aluminum on its own or mention it alongside another trailer service.

Request an aluminum assessment

Horse trailer, enclosed trailer, or another type?

Tell us what the trailer carries, its year, make, and model, and whether it has a dressing room or living space. Horse areas, dressing areas, and living spaces are separate choices so you can request the parts that matter to you.

For horse-area or dressing-area cleaning, text an overall interior photo and closer photos of the areas you want addressed. Remove horses, loose tack, feed, and personal belongings before the agreed service. The confirmed scope will identify which areas are included.

The material matters more than the label

Trailers may combine painted panels, fiberglass or gel coat, bare aluminum, polished metal, rubber, decals, and sealants. A process that suits one surface may not suit the panel beside it. Tell us about peeling decals, exposed metal, failing coatings, leaks, or repairs.

A clean, brighter trailer is the goal. Detailing does not replace structural repairs or guarantee that staining, scratches, corrosion, or failing paint can be removed.

Plan room for a larger project

Larger polishing and correction jobs need enough time for preparation, the selected finish work and the areas to dry. Multiday projects use Wednesday and Thursday only, starting Wednesday; the full scope and duration must fit those working windows before approval. A Thursday start does not include a second workday on Friday. If the job needs a different arrangement, request an estimate first so we can discuss the scope and timing.

If the trailer is at a barn, park it where a running garden-hose connection and a standard electrical outlet are both within 50 feet. Share any gate, parking, or movement arrangements before the appointment.

More detail about the process

Polishing versus protection

Polishing improves the surface before protection is applied. Wax or sealant helps maintain that finish but will not correct chalkiness underneath. Surface preparation can include removing bonded contamination that ordinary washing leaves behind.

Billable length and separate areas

The estimator uses the approved pricing definition for the service selected. A horse area or living area may use a different measurement from the full exterior. If you do not know the relevant length, provide the make and model and text a photo; we will confirm it before the price is agreed.

How your estimate works

Exterior and selected interior areas use the current catalog’s billable measurements and service definitions. Provide the lengths you know; we confirm uncertain measurements, condition and travel before agreeing the quote. Aluminum polishing is a separate, individually quoted scope.

No deposit or payment is collected with your request. An estimate is subject to review; your appointment is confirmed only after we accept the request.

A little preparation goes a long way

Have the trailer’s year, make, model, length if known, surface material, and the areas you want cleaned.

Text photos to us at (860) 912-9013 with your name and request reference, if you have already submitted a request. Send full-trailer photos, close views of the panels and metal, and photos of any horse, dressing or living areas you want cleaned. For aluminum, show both the whole metal area and close views of its current finish. Photos are sent by text, not uploaded here.

We need running water through a garden-hose connection and a standard electrical outlet within 50 feet. Suitable onboard water and power can work when agreed in advance. We review access, condition, the estimate, and the schedule before confirming.
