One-step exterior polish
One-step polishing can improve mild haze and dullness on suitable painted or gel-coated surfaces. It is more involved than a wash and needs the right preparation.
Two-step oxidation correction
Two-step correction uses an initial cutting stage and a finishing polish. We assess whether the surface is suitable and what improvement is realistic before the work is confirmed.
Motorhome, fifth wheel, or travel trailer?
The year, make, model, and length help identify the RV and estimate the selected work. Tell us about its exterior material, decals, slide-outs, roof access, and any damaged areas. If you do not know the length, submit the model and text a full exterior photo.
RV cleaning and protection must account for different materials on the same unit. Painted surfaces, fiberglass panels, seals, decals, plastic trim, and roof materials do not all receive the same treatment. Never assume a roof treatment or polishing service is included simply because the estimate says exterior.
Agree roof, slide-out and interior scope first
Tell us which roof or slide-out surfaces you want assessed and whether they can be reached safely. Roof material, seals, decals and previous repairs affect the approach; washing or polishing every surface is not automatically part of the exterior estimate.
Living-area cleaning is separate from the exterior choices shown in the request. If you want it considered, describe those areas and send photos so we can review a separate scope. It is not added or priced automatically.
Multiday projects use Wednesday and Thursday only, starting Wednesday; the full scope and duration must fit those working windows before approval.
Campground or driveway: prepare the service location
At a campsite, please confirm the campground allows mobile detailing and that there is room to reach the requested surfaces. A running garden-hose hookup and standard power outlet must be within 50 feet. Suitable onboard connections may work when discussed in advance.
Tell us whether the RV will stay parked for the full service, whether slide-outs can be positioned safely, and if another appointment or departure creates a deadline. A requested date is reviewed before it becomes a confirmed appointment.
What protection can—and cannot—do
Think of protection as a finish-care step after cleaning or polishing. It can help maintain the surface, but it cannot rebuild damaged material, mend a seal, or restore peeling graphics. If the finish is chalky, applying protection alone will not provide the same result as correcting a suitable surface first.
Gel coat, oxidation, and a test area
Gel coat is the outer finish on many fiberglass panels. Weathering can leave it dull or chalky, often described as oxidation. We may need to assess a small area before deciding how much improvement is possible. The selected process should match the material and condition rather than simply using the most aggressive option.
Maintenance after polishing
Gentle, regular washing helps keep a refreshed finish looking better between larger services. Tell us how the RV is stored and used so any follow-up care can be discussed around your needs. A maintenance decision is separate from approving the original service.
How your estimate works
RV estimates are reviewed individually using the unit’s year, make, model, length, surface condition and selected work. Roof, slide-out and interior work are not automatically included in an exterior request. Travel and the agreed scope are confirmed before approval.
No deposit or payment is collected with your request. An estimate is subject to review; your appointment is confirmed only after we accept the request.
A little preparation goes a long way
Have the RV’s year, make, model, length if known, and service address or campsite details.
Text photos to us at (860) 912-9013 with your name and request reference, if you have already submitted a request. Send full exterior views, close photos of fading or damage, and slide-out photos if those areas need attention. Include the roofline only where it is safely visible from the ground; there is no need to climb onto the RV for photos. Photos are sent by text, not uploaded here.
We need running water through a garden-hose connection and a standard electrical outlet within 50 feet. Suitable onboard water and power can work when agreed in advance. We review access, condition, the estimate, and the schedule before confirming.
Questions before you start
Can I request a preferred date without knowing every measurement?
Yes. Provide the RV details you know and explain what remains uncertain. We will review the missing information, estimate, access, and timing before confirming.
Do you need photos uploaded to the website?
No. Text overall exterior photos and any problem areas to us, including your name and request reference.
Can I pay or make a deposit here?
No payment or deposit is collected through the request. The displayed estimate is subject to review.
